EVERYONE I NEED YOUR HELP: A few months ago, I entered a big costume competition hosted by the Cosplay Star (a big cosplay magazine). I submitted a couple of photos of the star wars mandalorian costume that I’ve been working on since November 2019. With so many amazing costumes entering the competition, I didn’t think I’d make it very far. That is until last week, when I got a text from the company telling me I made it into the next round! Now here’s where you come in: This competition is about getting as many votes as I can. If I win, my costume will be featured in the Cosplay Star. In addition to that there is a cash prize of $10,000. Seeing as I’m getting married in October, that money will go toward a future with my fiancée. THIS IS A VERY BIG DEAL. Hey all, it's been a while since I posted anything on here. I've been helping a friend create a book cover (and Ebook cover) for a Crime Noir story he's been working on. I created the entire cover for him on photoshop he sent me a copy of his book and wanted me to spread the word about his novel "The Devil You Know". And I was more than happy to help promote it when he mentioned that it dropped today on Amazon, Kindle, Barnes & Noble, Apple Books (And MUCH MORE)! He said it is available as an EBOOK and in paperback.
The story takes place in Chicago during the Prohibition Era (1931 to be exact). It's got Gangsters, Speakeasies, Crime, Murder, Mystery, and so much more. he sent me a copy for working on it and boy did it have me on the edge of my seat! I HIGHLY recommend!

This is his first novel he's gotten published and it's a real page turner. If you love Noir Stories, Noir movies, Mysteries, the Prohibition Era, or Crime Thrillers, then this is a must read. Personally when I was reading it I imagined the character Guy Duncan being played by Humphrey Bogart. The paperback he was not huge, but the story itself was quality Noir. It felt like I was watching an old gangster black & white movie! So good!

WHEN KNIGHTS THRIVED
When Knights Thrived
What sad, troubling times weigh heavily on our brows. Days of fear; Days of plague; Days of unrest.
A time when the world has all but lost hope. A time when the oppressed have turned to violence as a means of requiting injustice. A time when the code of chivalry seemed all but forgotten. A time when few were charged with maintaining fragile peace as the world around them erupted into chaos.
These were the days when knights thrived.
In such dark times, it fell upon weathered knights, knights who’d endured such times themselves, to remind the world of the very pillars of Chivalry; Faith, Charity, Justice, Sagacity, Prudence, Temperance, Resolution, Truth, Liberality, Diligence, Hope, and Valor.
By their example, they hoped to inspire a new generation of knights to uphold these same pillars in their words and deeds. Their lessons are ones we might take to heart:
- Have Faith.
- Give back to others in all walks of life.
- Protect others, justly and honorably.
- Use sound judgment before deciding to act.
- Stay in control of your emotions and don’t let them rule you.
- Restrain yourself from abusing powers bestowed upon you so that they may be used to benefit all.
- Stand firm in your decisions and do not waver from them if you believe them to be true.
- Always seek to uncover the truth.
- Be open to new ideas and free from prejudice.
- Strive to complete any venture or endeavor you have started until the very end.
- Give hope to those in need.
- Be brave in the face of danger or uncertainty, and be prepared to stand your ground if you need to.
The world is not perfect, but if we hold true to these ideals, we can work to make it better. Each of us is a knight in our own right. Each of us have faced hardships that have seemed impossible to overcome.
If we commit to the morals we know to be true and do so honorably, we too can thrive in such difficult times. All of us have the potential to do good and make change. Let us do so in a way that might benefit all.
